Whimsy Hill Ranch is a family adventure. Several years ago we asked ourselves if the road we were on as a family was leading to our desired destination.  As wonderful as that road was we realized we were ready and able to make a "course correction."

We moved to our 4 acre property soon after and have loved the ability to lead a simple and peaceful life.

After much animal research we discovered alpacas and pretty much fell in love. We would be happy to share more about alpacas but there is great information available through the alpaca organizations and community so we won't get repetitive.

We are "hands on" and that means all of us. Our young children are great with the animals. Growing up as "city kids" we have found alpacas to be great livestock, not threatening or intimidating. We searched for quality foundation females. We "plugged in" with experienced, knowledgeable mentors including a veterinarian who sees our herd several times a year. We are very excited about the males we have chosen to breed our girls with, every cria is eagerly anticipated.

We recently moved from our home in North Keller to almost 17 acres not far away in the tiny Denton County town of Ponder. The new Whimsy Hill Ranch has more space and an even bigger hill. Call if you are interested in a visit.  We are convenient to most of the Dallas / Ft. Worth metroplex.
